Since 1904 we have been the biggest service provider in Danish private forestry. We are organising and servicing more than 5.000 forest owners in all sizes - from 1/2 hectare to more than 1000 hectares.

We are organised as co-operatives with boards consisting of local forest owners, with open accounts and transparency in all matters. We are basically working on a non-profit basis, but with a certain net worth in order to ensure all payments to members and in order to make room for investment and development.

Advisory service is the core activity

Our main product is extension - providing unbiased advice and knowledge to the members. On top of that, we offer help with the practical work on the properties, including the selling of timber, wood chips, christmas trees etc., and providing seedlings, fertilisers, pesticides etc.

Last year our total turnover amounted to 450 mill. DKK. Via our common company, Green Product Ltd., we are Denmarks biggest exporter of christmas trees. An other associated company, Danish Forestry Extension Ltd., provides services abroad on all matters related to forestry, forest owners unions, afforestation, chipwood production and logistics, carbon credits etc.

In total, we employ more that 100 persons, most of which are foresters with different academic grades. A common office in Copenhagen are servicing the local branches with concepts, marketing etc., and is at the same time working on the political and economic framework of the Danish forest owners.
